Mt Hotham

On a trip to Mt Hotham, I stumbled across this unique composition. I was considering for sunrise the next day, however I ended up finding another location which I ended up shooting. However, after the peak light of the sunrise, I drove to have a look at this location. The light had shifted from pink hues to organge, I hiked the small distance from my car and captured this photograph. Captured in June 2020.

Last weekend I ran a photography tour on the Great Ocean Road, stopping by the well known Hopetoun Falls. We spent 2 hours at this waterfall, and it felt like 20 minutes. Once everyone had captured there photographs, I framed my own, clicked the shutter and this is what I walked away with. Blessed with great conditions. Timeless.

I arrived at Natadola Beach in Fiji and was blown away with the views, probably the best beach I have ever seen in my life. Meeting a local, he offered to take me to the small island were we hiked to the other side. There awaited this private beach, calm, still and secluded. The hike to Wineglass Bay lookout is amazing. Along the way I stopped at many locations to admire and capture. Along the way I bumped into a couple who was hiking in the reverse orientation, they jokingly said “don’t take our dingy from the beach”. Turns out the sailed in and took there dingy in land to start the hike, cheating! When I stumbled across this little spot I was very excited that there yacht was in this spot.

Nestled among a local village in Fiji is the Biausevu Waterfall, to get to this waterfall is a short hike through 9 creeks. I however chose to take this on horseback guided by one of the local villagers. It was a remarkable experience. Shortly after this photograph was taken it started to rain, and by the time we returned to the village, I was completely drenched.
