Description
Join me on this Mornington Peninsula photography tour across Cape Schanck & Blairgowrie where you will be taken to some of the most amazing destinations the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.
Mornington Peninsula provides a range of photography opportunities with a good combination of coastline, rock formations and even a light house. All being in close proximity to one another, this tour will allow us to slow down and focus on learning photography techniques with the provided handbook.
On this workshop you will receive the following guidance;
- 1:1 dedicated photography guidance (small group)
- Using your camera on manual, handling exposure, dynamic range, depth of field and focus
- Approach to landscape locations, composition and use of light
- When and how to use a neutral density filter, graduated numeral density filter and a polarizer
- Capturing multiple exposures for HDR
- How do take a panorama for post production photo stitching
- Landscape photography handbook (containing all the training you will receive on the tour)
- Great fun, a handful of good photos and a day in nature!
Some of the key aspects on this tour;
- Rock Formations of Cape Schanck & Blairgowrie
- Cape Schanck Lighthouse
- Long Exposure Costal Opportunities
Who is the tour for?
This tour is for anyone interested in landscape photography, experience ranging from interested beginner to intermediates wanting to elaborate on their own photography journey. The benefit of a small group is having the dedicated and focused guidance so that each person can receive the level of guidance needed in order to get the most benefit from the day.
What to expect;
With pick-up and drop off from either Werribee, or Melbourne CBD, the trip will include a sunset so we will be returning quite late. There will be some short hiking as we venture around Cape Schanck and Blairgowrie Beach on well-made walking tracks, however there are a lot of stairs. Depending on the time of year, we may have extended times waiting for sunset, so being patient in nature can be expected (sounds good to me).

The following equipment is required to be self-supplied;
- DSLR or Mirrorless Camera with manual mode, digital or film camera although digital is preferred for on location guidance and critique
